Spring Dessert Party

I've been in a sweet mood this week. So BBC and I have made marshmallow-pops, peep-ka-bobs, and cookie bars. Last night I decided to round it all up in one place and our Spring Dessert Party was born.

The table...

The place settings are a mix match of clear and white rectangular platters, a funky glass, and flatware. The chargers are a green and white micro-check scrap paper. Each setting is adorned with yellow ribbon to tie into the centerpiece. The silver and glass theme is carried out in the serving containers and other decor.

The Centerpiece

I got the idea for this centerpiece at my Southern Living at HOME meeting this week. A peep-ka-bob arrangement in a jar of jelly beans on a bed of jelly beans. Isn't it adorable? Easy to craft and BBC went ga-ga for it!

I love that it fits under my new big cloche and that helps keep the candy fresh. I checked this morning and the peeps are still soft and fresh!

Fun Candles

These are easy to craft and cute embellishments for the table. They make great party favors, too!

I hope you enjoyed our Spring Dessert Party as much as we did. I'll be posting the recipe for the cookie bars next week so be sure to check back for details to make that tasty treat!
