March Door Decor

This is a little something I whipped up for my door for March. The "wreath" is an old plastic mirror frame I picked up at Goodwill a few months back for $6. I got the crafty idea to hang the frame and drop a shamrock with ribbon in the center this weekend. I found this shamrock at Hobby Lobby for around $2.

I had a few green ribbon scraps that I used to hang both the frame and the shamrock. It will do for now! I love it when a crafty plan comes together!

I have another project in mind for the frame so you will see it remade again in the near future. I also removed the mirror and plan to use it in another project

How often do you change out your door decor?

We only have door-decor at Christmas... we have a storm door on our front door that "smushes" most of my holiday decorations designed for hte door, so we hang them on an interior closet door instead! That way, it doesn't get smushed and we get to see it more often!

My roomy and I were just rueing the lack of adult/non-cheesy St. Patty's door decor. We still have our winter wreath up - its red berries with white "snow"

I guess its about time to take that puppy down eh? :(

I adore the simplicity of this wreath! I adore even more the frame that you used. It looks like milk glass. I gotta find one of those!

That is a fun whimsical wreath. I change my about 6 times a year...right now it just needs to come down as birds have started nesting there recently. Thanks for sharing with Made it Monday! Jules

The shamrock door hanging is simply darling inside that white oval frame.

I would love to have a new door decor item for every month.

In January I hung ice skates, in February I hung a large glittered heart from my son's preschool.

Now, thanks to you, I have an idea of what to create for St. Patties Day!
