My mother-in-love (MIL) came by on New Year's Day to pick up BBC. In true southern style, she never comes to our home empty-handed. This trip yielded stickers for BBC, cabbage and peas for wealth and good luck this year, and this...
p.s. If MIL is reading this, I'm flattered that you think I AM that creative. BBC's curiosity was peaked so they did prove educational (even if I wasn't smart enough to identify them). And the sand dollar was worth it all! Thanks for always thinking of us!
p.s.s. I bet someone out there has a good idea for how to use these and I'll feel bad that I've tossed them. If you do please let me know by leaving a comment! Heck, even if you don't leave me a comment anyway just for fun!

I've seen people blow the egg out of the shell to fill with confetti and decorate for poppers at New years eve and such,, a friend of my sisters used to do this all the time.. but they were just regular size eggs,, not sure about these huge ones. I hate that you tossed them, i'm sure we could;ve helped you figure out something to do with them.
Hmmm they even look a little big for goose eggs. I wonder if they are like reptile eggs?
No ideas :(
I think they may be Emu eggs (don't ask me how I know that!) Back in the early 90's there was a fad where it was cool to breed these things (thank goodness my parents never got in to that....but a lot of my friends' parents did). I checked online and I think we may have found a winner...what to do with them?? I don't know. You could paint them pretty pastel colors and put them in your hurricanes for Easter? Other than that, I probably would have put them in the same place you did! : )
Most of the time they do this to decorate the egg and run a ribbon through and make a knot on the bottom and leave ribbon on top to tie. I sure wish I had those eggs toy trashed. I make a egg tree for Easter,
lol! and i thought my MIL gave me some weird stuff!! glad you found a place for them. :)
Get them back out of the trash, paint them (monograms?), string a cute ribbon through them (tying a knot on the outside of the egg on both ends to secure) and use them for Easter decorations. You can think of something!
oh I wish my MIL would give me something good like blown eggs rather than the random things I get, not that those aren't random...
I would paint/dye and put in egg cups or on a tree for Easter...
