I wanted to share the project that BBC has been working on this week. We borrowed this idea from Micki. Well ours didn't turn out quite as neat as hers but I allowed BBC a lot of freedom in crafting these so we will cherish them for years to come.
In the end I like all the different ways BBC engaged on the project. First we started with the background color with a foam brush. Then we moved onto tracing. I lightly drew the web in with pencil and he traced with a q-tip. Check out that concentration!
Then came the fun part - getting paint on your hands - on purpose! I think this was his favorite part - or maybe it was the black bubbles he produced in the sink when washing it all off.
We followed similar steps with a black background and white foot print. I did the dots on this one - I love polka dots but they have to be just so. It's important to learn teamwork, too, right?
A touch of glue and googly eyes and voila! We have two of the cutest little Halloween accessories you've ever seen! We'll have fun getting these out and walking down memory lane for years to come!
We have at least one more fall trick up our sleeves. Can't wait to share!
